Watching from above the clouds  / Jose Campos (Computer Tech Support to her Grandmother )

Hello, even though I did not have the pleasure of meeting Dana, I did manage to meet over the phone her Grandmother while fixing her computer and I was deeply touched on how this young lady lost her life, All I can say is that she's sitting on some cloud watching down North Dakota on all her family and loved ones playing , having fun at the movies, the park, etc. Her spirit is with all of you and Grandma...She knows how much you love her and is so happy she has a Grandma like you and I hope the technician comes soon and fixes your computer so you can keep checking this tribute page and updating so you can see this tribute I've done for her.I feel very sorry for what happened to her, my old man passed away a couple of years ago and I know just like him with me, Dana is protecting all of you.

I'd just like to pay a tribute.

Dana,
You've been gone for quite some time now, but your still in my heart and mind every day and not a day goes by that I still don't think of you.  You really meant alot more to me than many knew or I let show.

I still have the necklace w/ your ashes in it.  I keep it close by me every day.  It's been interwoven into the middle of 2 dream catchers that I made to keep it safe and keep you in my dreams. 

Just today even, just a casual stroll through wal*mart and I saw someone that looked just like you.  It stopped me dead in my tracks and I ended up going a few isles down and breakin down.  You're still the one I hold dearest in my heart right next to my mom.  Trust me, its not the 1st time recently that i've just out of nowhere broke down crying. 

You mean so much to me and you will never be forgotten.  My heart shall alway be yours till the day that I die.  Maybe there may be others in the future who shall also get a piece, but still to this day, nobody's grabbed my heart like you, and even after your death it's still yours. 

I miss you greatly more than anybody knows.  I hope your happy up with god and I pray someday I'll meet up with you up there once again.

I did not ever get to meet Dana but I had the pleasure of getting to know her Grandmother Reba Archer from working at the casino with her. Reba was always fun to be around! She was always happy and so so kind, I will never forget her and that beautiful smile of hers! May her and Dana both rest in peace. They are your beautiful guardian angels and always with you. I am so sorry to hear of your heart-breaking loss. I too came across this page through looking for some music and despite being a young person myself, I can not see any justification whatsoever in what happened. It was horribly reckless and highly irresponsible of the person driving, and I pray that during this painful time that God will draw near to you and your family and friends, that He would wrap you close in a blanket of pure love and comfort and bring you together at this difficult time. I also pray for his continuous love, mercy and strength to be poured into your sister, that she may one day be able to make a new start in her life whilst keeping her precious child with her in her heart.

I was searching for music when I stumbled upon this site. I am so sorry for your loss...It is really horrible reading about what happened to someone you really loved. I just wanted to share a scripture with you in the Bible that helped me later in life when a family membe of mine committed suicide.
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengence of our God,
to comfort all who mourn, and
provide for those who grieve in Zion-
to bestow on them a crown of beauty, instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness, instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."

This scripture really helped me to see that God is there for me when I am sad, lonely, crying and in despair. I hope you can find comfort in God and his word and know that he is there for you in your time of loss and sorrow.

dana was an awsome friend.  she didn't have an easy life but she did with what she had.  i remember driving around at lunch with dana listening to reba mcintire just talking about everything and anything.  I was a foster child there and dana saved me many times in my life.  i remember wanting to run away and she stopped me or when i went through my suicidal phase and thought i was all alone she was always there and always had the best advice.  i miss dana everyday and to this day i think that she is the only reson i am still alive today and she is forever in my thoughts and prayers as is her family.

First, I am so very, very sorry for your loss.
It was very difficult and heart wrenching to contact you on todays date 07/07/05. After two years have gone by.
As I spoke to you both by phone, my heart and thoughts of this day will remain with me as well as you both forever. 
It has been very hard for me personally these past two years after being at the accident site on that fateful day.
I can't even begin to imagine what your family has been thru.

 well i really never met dana but i have talked to her grandmother my name is robert and i am a qwest representive dana's grandmother and myself were talking about life one day and she mentioned that she had lost dana to a drunk driver my heart went out to her becouse when i was in high school i lost my cousin to a drunk driver in the same town dana was from. i know the pain and sawrrow one goes threw loosing a loved especially to a selfish act like that agian my heart goes out to dana's family and friends my god follow you all in the juorney of life all of you have choosen god bless to you all
